9-Day Sightseeing Tour from Shanghai to Beijing

Day 1 Arrive in Shanghai

Arriving in Shanghai, the tour guide would be welcome you at the airport, then you will enjoy dinner(D).

Day 2 Shanghai

After breakfast, you will take coach to Zhou Village with boating there. It likes a pearl embedded in river. The ancient town, which has a history of more than 900years old still keeps the intact, original ancient water village's style and pattern. The most famous attractions are Fu'an Bridge, Double Bridge and the Hall of Shen's Residence(B,L,D).

Day 3 Shanghai-Guilin

After breakfast, you will visit the Yu Garden. The pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds and cloisters in Yuyuan Garden all have unique characteristics and the true treasure of Yuyuan Garden is the Exquisite Jade Rock. Then you will get to the Oriental Pearl Tower (the second ball). It is located in Pudong Park in Lujiazui, Shanghai. The tower, surrounded by the Yangpu Bridge in the northeast and the Nanpu Bridge in the southwest, creates a picture of 'twin dragons playing with pearls'. The entire scene is a photographic jewel that excites the imagination and attracts thousands of visitors year-round.Next stop is the silk factory. And then you will fly to Guilin(B,L,D).

Day 4 Guilin

After break, you will visit you will visit the Reed Flute Cave, which known as "The Palace of Natural Arts". It is a magic fairyland of stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains, birds, plants and animals in fantastic shapes and colors, all glistening in colorful lights.
Then you will visit the Elephant Hill which is not a hill at all, but rather a rock formation that looks like an elephant sucking water through its trunk . After that, you will go shopping in a Pearl Shop there(B,L,D).

Day 5 Guilin-Yangshuo

After breakfast, you will take coach to Yangshuo. After arrival, you will visit the Lijiang River, which decorated with rolling hills, steep cliffs, fantastic caves, leisurely boats and lined bamboos and just looks like enjoying a melodious symphony.
Then you go to Yangshuo West Street. Many bars, Clubs, and restaurants are opened by foreign people. That is a really special street and it is even busier at night, People like to enjoy night life there(B,L,D).

Day 6 Yangshuo-Guilin-Beijing

After breakfast, you will have a half day countryside free time in Yangshuo. In the afternoon, you coach back to Guilin and then flight to Beijing(B,D).

Day 6 Beijing

After breakfast, you will visit the Forbidden city which was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is the world's largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. Surrounded by a six meter deep moat and a ten meter high wall are 9,999 rooms.
Then you will go to the Tiananmen square. The Tiananmen Gate Tower sites at the north, the Five-Star Red Flag flies high on the square, the Monument to the People's Heroes dominates the center, the Great Hall of the People and the Museum of the Chinese Revolution and the Museum of Chinese History to the east and west of it, as well as The Chairman Mao Memorial Hall and the Qianmen gate, sit in the south of the square.Last you will have a Hutong tour(B,L,D).

Day 6 Beijing

After breakfast, you will take coach to Badaling Great Wall (without round way cable car) ust like a gigantic dragon, the Great Wall winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus, stretching approximately 8,851.8 kilometers (5,500 miles) from east to west of China. With a history of more than 2000 years, some of the sections are now in ruins or have disappeared then go to a Jade factory. The Next stop is Temple of Heaven. The Temple of Heaven is seen as the most holy of Beijing's imperial temples. It has been described as "a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design". And it was where the emperor came every winter solstice to worship Heaven and to solemnly pray for a good harvest(B,L,D).
