10-Day China Kung Fu Experience to Beijing, Xian, Luoyang, Dengfeng, Zhengzhou, Shanghai

Day 1 Arrive in Beijing

Arriving in Beijing - the tour guide would be welcome you at the airport, then you will enjoy dinner(D).

Day 2 Beijing

After breakfast, you will take coach to Badaling Great Wall (without round way cable car)Just like a gigantic dragon, the Great Wall winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus, stretching approximately 8,851.8 kilometers (5,500 miles) from east to west of China. With a history of more than 2000 years, some of the sections are now in ruins or have disappeared then go to Jade factory. Next stop is Temple of Heavens. The Temple of Heaven is seen as the most holy of Beijing's imperial temples. It has been described as "a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design". And it was where the emperor came every winter solstice to worship Heaven and to solemnly pray for a good harvest(B,L,D).

Day 3 Beijing

After breakfast, you will visit the Forbidden city which was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is the world's largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. Surrounded by a six meter deep moat and a ten meter high wall are 9,999 rooms.Then go to the Tiananmen Square. The Tiananmen Gate Tower sites at the north, the Five-Star Red Flag flies high on the square, the Monument to the People's Heroes dominates the center, the Great Hall of the People and the Museum of the Chinese Revolution and the Museum of Chinese History to the east and west of it, as well as The Chairman Mao Memorial Hall and the Qianmen gate, sit in the south of the square.At last, you will have a Hutong Tour(B,L,D).

Day 4 Beijing to Xian

Day 5 Xi'an to Luoyang

After breakfast, you will visit the Shanxi Museum which is covers 65,000 square meters, with a building area of 60,000 square meters. The newly built modern building recreates Tang-dynasty architecture and successfully symbolizes the great extent of Shaanxi history and its remarkable culture. Next go to the Ancient City Wall. The Wall was established in the 3rd year of Hongwu Period of the Ming Dynasty (1370 A.D.) in a rectangular form with a perimeter of 13.79 km and an area of 11.47 km2. It is 12 meters tall, 14 meters wide at the top and 18 meters thick at the base with 18 gates and a surrounding moat, being the only best preserved large ancient fortress in China.After lunch, you would take train to Luoyang(B,L,D).

Day 6 Luoyang

After breakfast, you will visit the Longmen Grottoes. The scenery measures 1,000 metres (about 1,094 yards) from north to south where there are over 2,300 holes and niches, 2,800 steles, 40 dagobas, 1,300 caves and 100,000 statues. Most of them are the works of the Northern Wei Dynasty and the flourishing age of the Tang Dynasty (618-907).Next visit White Horse Temple. White Horse Temple was regarded as the "originating court" and the "cradle of Chinese Buddhism" by the Buddhist disciples. Since its establishment, White Horse Temple has experienced vicissitudes of centuries. It was rebuilt for several times, in which the restoration during the reign of Emperor Wu Zetian was especially notable in its large scale(B,L,D).

Day 7 Luoyang to Dengfeng to Zhengzhou

After breakfast, you will take the coach to Dengfeng. Visit the Shaolin Temple (with the Shanglon Kongfu Show) and the Pagoda Forest(B,L,D).

Day 8 Zhengzhou to Shanghai

After breakfast, you will fly to Shanghai. After arrival, you will visit the bund side, Nanjing Road, and silk factory. The 5 km long Nanjing Road, the busiest and most prosperous shopping street in Shanghai, which accommodates an average of one million shoppers and visitors every day. Visit the world's famous "The Bund" in Shanghai. It was once part of the foreign concessions and out-of-bound to locals(B,L,D).

Day 9 Shanghai

After breakfast, you will visit the Shanghai Museum. Shanghai Museum is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. The museum style and presentation surround visitors with artifacts demonstrating ancient wisdom and philosophy. The exterior design of the round dome and the square base symbolizes the ancient idea of a round heaven and a square land.Then visit Yu Garden, The pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds and cloisters in Yuyuan Garden all have unique characteristics and the true treasure of Yuyuan Garden is the Exquisite Jade Rock.And last the Shanghai World Financial Center (94th flour)(B,L,D).

Day 10 Depart from Shanghai

Your time is on your own, until you are ready to be transferred to the Shanghai airport for your departure(B).
